Privacy Policy

Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to read the privacy policy for Touring Bikes Review. Your privacy is important to me, as I appreciate my privacy! For this reason, I have kept the nature of the data registered on this website to a minimum and have taken every step to ensure that the data is protected.

Let me first say what I will NOT sell your data to third parties - that's just funny!

This Privacy Policy was recently updated to comply with the new DSGVO provisions in Europe. These are intended to protect the citizens of Europe from the use of their personal data. I fully agree and have done everything to comply with the rules.

What happens when you visit the website?

Your Permission

Advertising - After May 25, 2018, visitors to the EU website will be asked in a pop-up if they agree with personalized ads provided by my advertising partner MediaVine. These ads are probably based on your previous browsing experience. You can get on and off as you like. I do not collect any data from it myself. Why do I have the ads? This website is a business, and a business needs to make money - I'm sure you understand!

Newsletter - There may be an option to sign up for various newsletters on the site. You can not automatically sign up for a newsletter, and I have a double opt-in procedure, so you can not log in "accidentally"! It goes without saying that I would need your e-mail data to communicate with you. These are stored in my third party, which is currently Mailchimp. I only use this to communicate with you based on the reasons for which you have logged in, and you can unsubscribe at any time - there is a link in each email.

Cookies

The website must use cookies to function as part of legitimate business operations. These can be both first-party cookies and third-party cookies. These cookies do not contain any data that I can use to identify you but are designed to make browsing easier for you. Internet users have always had full control over the cookies on their computers, and you can access them through your browser settings. I have no way to track or use the cookies left on your computer to identify you.
